Club is Cancelled Tonight
Club is Cancelled Tonight Due to the worsening winter storm, Chess Club is cancelled this evening. The WCC Fall tournament will be shortened from 5 weeks to 4. Join us on November 18 for round 1 the WCC/MCC Challenge.
2019 Canadian Junior Chess Championship results
Congratulations to Waterdown Chess Club members Sato and Josiah for taking first place in the U1000 section for girls and boys, and to Eugene for taking second place in the Open section at the 2019 Canadian Junior Chess Championship in Toronto from August 9.
July Update
Our club is currently on hiatus for the summer. We’ll be starting again on September 9th with our Annual General Meeting, followed by 3 Mondays of casual play – perfect for those curious about out club and just investigating.
